I noticed these too, particularly if I didn;t get a chance to clean up any fecal matter til the next day, which is bad in itself. The bugs seem to feed off of moisture/frog wastes, so letting your tank dry out a bit might get rid of most of them. I leave my substrate nearly dry, but have a water dish in there which my frog uses for all the moisture she needs. I have heard that you can bake the substrate on low heat in the oven to kill parasites, but that sounds risky.
