Perhaps you could place a small water dish in most of the rooms of your house. This may draw out the frogs, and even if you cannot catch the frogs, as least they will have a place to soak. And if your house is too dry, the frog just may stay in the bowls long enough for you to find it. I too have had frogs escape, well mantellas anyway. I learned the hard way that a proper lid is one of the more important aspects of the equation.
