I'm guessing it's a Southern also. I think they all are. Pepper's tail is nothing but a little bump on the butt now and is testing the air. I think he/she will be up on land today.

I got a good picture of this one and will post it today. It looks like it's also a Northern but the coloring is SO different than Stretch. Pepper is real caramely brown where Stretch is so dark he's almost black. It's AWESOME how different they can be.


:Cute... looks like a southern leopard frog? Leos are so elusive when you're trying to photograph them. It's nice to have photos to go with your tadpole/frog story :)
