Just an update on my lil froggies and tadpoles.

I had separated the small taddie from the tank but ended up putting it back in with the others because a man I spoke with at a local shop that knows frogs said that since I have a carbon filter, the feramones (sp) from the frogs wouldn't effect the growth of the tad. I also put the feeder fish back in just for the heck of it.

Well, I can't find the three feeders anywhere! SO I don't know if They are hiding in the river rocks somewhere or if Stretch ate them. If they are stuck I'll find them tomorrow when I do a water change.

Stretch is growing well, caught a glimps of him/her last night hopping through the fog before disappearing out of sight behind some rocks. Pepper got front lets sometime during the night and will be up on land soon!! Tiny is growing FAST! Back legs are almost fully grown so those front legs are just about a week away. Freckles... well that one will have legs someday HA HA. I saw it eating last night and is swimming around a little more than before so there is still hope. I was afraid maybe that one was sick or something, but I guess it's just growing in it's own time.

Once they are all on land I'll be changing the tank around again, adding a little more land and setting it up as a more perminant arrangement.

This weekend I'll try crickets again and see if I can catch up with Stretch long enough to drop a little jumper in front of him/her. That will give him/her a couple more days to chill out.

I've been keeping away from the tank as much as possible to let the little buggers calm down. Hard to keep my 2 year old away from it, but at least I'm getting her to stand quietly and not move so quickly and scare everyone.

I want to thank you all for the advice and tips you have all given. It has really helped me alot in this new venture. I'll keep you all updated on the "kids" and I'm sure I'll have more questions for you all!!

Thanks again!
