Woodfrogs are the only frog i know of that come out of hibernation earlier than all the other frogs,as for the spring peepers i dont really know sorry:(.Well anyways the same thing happend to me,i was frog hunting an i swore i heard an american toad in a dried up lake withlittle puddles in it and high grass.I was looking but i couldnt pinpoint its location from the noise it was making because it couldve been buried but i sounded like it was coming from a pacth of high grass.I didnt find it i had to go,it was gonna rain,well sorry my story was long just wanted to say what happend to me when i went froghunting.
