Sounds like a bullfrog to me. I had a bulltad in my tank and it was pretty big, but the ones out in the pond behind our place are HUGE! Easily 3-4" but they look exactly like the bull frog.

:I foud some huge tadpolls is a small ditch today. I caught them because it was drying out, and i didn't want them to die. I could only catch about 20 today, but i know theres at least 500 of these guys in there. There about 3in long, and i saw one that looked even bigger. and bout 1/2 inch wide. Does anyone know what type of frog this might be? I live in louisiana, and i thought it might be bull frogs, but some of these tadpolls are bigger than some baby bull frogs i've seen.
