like you, im still new and dont know much about the subject. but from what i have read, basically what you said, just make sure the food has not been compromised by insecticid (spell?), or any thing of that nature. if theres any thing else regarding this, i dont know, but like you would also like to know because im looking for my fire bellys to have some nice small red worms.
