I have a two fire belly toad and i think that they are they greatest things. I have had them for almost a year now. I don't really have that problem but the odd time it does. What you should is have a bigger place for them to rest. For example i have half of my tank full of water then i have a glass plate where they can sit on glued on. I also have lot of plants(fake and real) and sticks in it.
