You may have something there with the lack of sunlight. I'm in Florida and even though it's winter here too, there is still alot of sun and my dragon is still active and eating. Yours may also be trying to hibernate. But I would think a full spectrum bulb would do the trick.

:Is it because it's the winter season? My female seems to bask all day under the heat lamp and my male away from it. I have been giving them the same food for more than 2 months now, but their diet has not been steady, they are eating like 1 or 2 per week, or sometimes never. Sunny days they are pretty active, but here in winter time in Canada, we don't have alot of sunny days during this season. Are my frillies depressed because there isn't alot of sunlight? I dunno anymore. I have been feeding them, superworms for quite sometime now. Could it be they are bored of them? They are both young frillies, the male is getting bigger, but the female seems to remain relatively the same size...
