the UV isn't going to pass throught the glass. Your putting your frilled in more danger then providing him good by placing him in the sunlight where the chances of his cage over heating are possable. Trying to provide your frilly natural UV is a great idea, but unless he is actualy outside with no solid barriers between him and the sun then nothing is occuring to benifit your little frilly.
