: I have looked every where. I can only find the long ones that are built very flimsy. I am trying to find the short quad light 12v. Herping season is comming soon and I gotta get one quick. Anybody?
The light you are looking for is the "Stubby" made by Saf-T-Lite. Call them at 219-824-3440. The set up you want is the light on a short coiled cord(part # 1713-0004) and a battery waist pack with charger(part# 1780-0000). The unit is very well made and has given me no problems whatsoever. I believe mine cost me about $135, but well worth it. Gives out a good light for 4 and a half to 5 hours. Another tip, for my running back and spotting them on the road light, I favor a Streamlight Scorpion, small but powerful...................TD
