Try Bagdad area, Wickenburg and walk, I know my friends have seen them while walking this time of year for rosy boas, stick to that habitat and you'll do ok. Look for freeways in the sand. They leave real cool trails. In fact you can almost do scale counts if the sand is fine enough.
