I am going to Costa Rica in June need some advise.

We do not know where we are going to go yet. I went to Quepos Costa Rica two years ago and the only snake I saw was some type of ratsnake in Manuel Antonio. I did try to night drive, would you suggest night driving to find more herps? How did you find most of the snakes you found? We saw tons of lizards and frogs but not enough snakes for me. Thank you in advance for any suggestions on where to look and to find the most so that I can have some great photos of snakes on my trip. I am extremely interested in getting photos of one of the tree vipers, they are so beautiful. Thanks again. Dan
