I found this one at La Mirada Creek Park, Los Angeles Co., many years ago and have yet to encounter another in SoCal. By chance, did you examine it’s the belly for “dusky lenghtwise stripes?” The distribution is that of E. multicarinata, but I’ve also seen E. coerulea along the coast in Marin Co. that match the pattern of the one you photographed. The one that I photographed was found many years ago and not examined.
