:does anyone know where this is?-i have heard that the newts t.torosa in this area are those that host a paraste that causes these newts to be extremly bumpy. has anyone ever seen these in the wild? im not even sure how big this creek is-or if its really a creek-my map of the state is the standard road map, so some directions wold be nice if you know them.
:thnx

I think it runs west from Cuyamaca Peak. If you go to Descanso and take the dirt road from there that crosses west of Cuyamaca Peak towards Julian, you cross Boulder Creek. I've heard of some pools in the granite there.
