Seems in South Texas Indigo's are seen more between November and March. I found this one crawling across the road in Crystal City, Texas. There were several cars already stopped looking at him. One guy had already taken out his tire tool and had remarked that he was going to kill him without messing up the skin so he could put the skin on his wall. When I walked up an picked him up, they thought I had lost my mind. I let everyone touch him and see that he wasn't a man eater. I moved him to a nearby ranch so he could keep his skin. He looked much prettier crawling off into the brush rather than hanging on a wall. He was around 7.5 ft. long. They are such massive snakes.
