where did you buy the salamander? Caudates rarely ever show up in the petstore here by us...the occasional tiger sally or fire bellied newts, but not the so called "common" animals like A. texanum or A.macrodactylum. i havent seen anyone that has many ambystomids for sale....once in the winter last year around christmas i saw some captive bred marbleds at a petshop but that was it. if you know anyone who has collected these salamanders previously last spring or even captive breeds them, please let me know thanx!
