#5: The timber rattlers I look at every spring on the Ks/Ok border.
#4: A 74" black rat snake when I was a kid.
#3: A pair of breeding twinspots after looking for them on a talus slope for 4+ hours.
#2: The most incredible C.l.klauberi from the Florida mountains in N.M. All of the Florida rocks are screamers.
#1: Tie- my first gila monster (at 4500 ft!); a ridgenose rattlesnake in the Peloncillos (N.M.) (no camera, as I was riding my Mtn. Bike, not herping); my first (and only) wild Jamaican iguana in Hellshire hills of Jamaica.
