In Reply to: Come on Jerry. It is not a python. New world sunbeam snake according to posted by Rick Staub on June 20, 2002 at 17:39:43:
In those days it was either a Dwarf Python or a Burrowing Python. When I was bringing it back to the states, I was riding a bus and at 3 AM, somewhere north of Hermosillo, the damned thing broke out of it's sack and through the cardboard box and made it's way into the passenger compartment. A lady started screaming about a snake on the bus and the driver tried to reassure her that no snakes were on the bus. Her screaming woke me up and I told the driver not to be so sure. I retrieved the DWARF PYTHON undamaged and, while the Mexicans looked at me horrified, stuck it inside my shirt. We then proceeded to Tijuana.
