: 5. A huge adult Pacific giant salamander under a log in Nor Cal. I kept this thing for a while. It ate adult mice. Very cool.

: 4. Rock flipping a coral snake near Pena Blanca Lake in 1988.

: 3. An adult female pyro in the Chirachahuas in 1989 I believe. My first pyro and it was the only snake I saw in 5 days of hiking.

: 2. My first zonata on Mount Hamilton. Took a lot of days of effort before finding that snake.

: 1. Namaquensis chameleon in 1998 in Namibia. Found several on the trip but the first one on the first night lantern walking was special. A lot of stuff from that trip could make this list because everything was so unique.
