5.... A nice 3' yellow phase timber . Found after 3 yrs of bike trips yield nothing. Finally got my drivers license and found there was snakes in them there mountains!
4.....5' eastern indigo. after 30 yrs of snake hunting.......... a labor strike at my job gave me the oppurtunity to go on an extended 3 month snake hunt in Fla.. What a rush!
3.....6' Eastern Diamondback while collecting on the beach in North Fla.. Have found quite a few in this area and it is always a thrill!
2.....5' northern pine snake. I have always been a fan of Karl Kauffields books and loved the stories of the pine barrens. I made a bunch of trips to the pine barrens in 2000 to experience for myself the wonders and beauty of this special place!
1....... grey banded kingsnake . I was looking for a way to spend a june vacation in 2001. According to this forum the only place that was happening was S.W. Texas. I was not really aware of the alterna "cult " but was quickly educated once I got there. Once I experienced the alterna rush I was hooked!
