Female Rat Breeding Question..

With back to back breeding it puts stress on the female cause they're constantly using nutrients to produce babies. That being said....if their diets are right and they get enough of everything, there shouldn't be too many problems. Me personally, I let the females have 3 litters back to back.. then let them rest for a month or so.. before I do it again. Have had good success with that pretty consistantly. I got almost 2 full years out of a breeding mother that way. Of good production.. when her production started to fall off.. I retired her. She became a pet after that
