Rat Breeding

I think i am going to start breeding rats. I will need probably 50-60 a month. How should i go about doing this? If i have one male per 2 females, how big does the cage need to be? Does the male need to be seperated from the females after breeding? As you can tell, i am just getting started in rat breeding, and any help is much appriciated. Thx in advance
