I have just put a mouse in a plastic bag once, but a little inhumane, I only use f/t but have a few little snakes that wont eat it, and I just put the mice in a bag and wack them like you sead, but when I breed them I will more then likely start using CO2, But be careful, read the post on the tree boa fourm, they say if you put dry ice in a screwed on contaner and put it in warm water it will blow up! I rember back when I was little I was playing with that CO2 stuff that you dust off your computer with, and I held it up side down and sprayed the the liglid (I cant spell lol) into a small screw on contaner and in about 30 secs it blew up! It was very think plastic to, scard the heck outa me lol. But hope this helps,
