I've never kept superworms, so I may be way off the mark here. I think that the inclusion of sunflower seeds was unwise. The oil would go rancid very quickly. If that is what has happened, then it would certainly poison the beasties. I can't see any other ingredient on your list that is likely to be the culprit.
