Is summer heat too much for rodent breeding

Hi everyone,
I am interested in breeding rats and mice on larger scale this summer for my snake, as well as selling and trading for snakes. My mom won't allow more than one cage of mice in the house (and no rats), and I know they would smell no matter how often I cleaned their cages. I have a horse for whom I have built a one stall stable with a hayloft overhead. The loft is empty of all but a few bales of hay in the summer, so I thought I could breed the rodents in there and when it got too cold in September or October I can feed all of them off. Would the summer heat here (it can get up to 100, but usually between 80 or 90 in the hot part of the day) be too much for them? Experienced input appreciated. Thanks,
animalmaniac
