making a CO2 chamber

Does anyone have instructions for a simple CO2 chamber? I've heard that you can make one out of a plastic tub with a lid. Where is the CO2 tube inserted? Near the top or the bottom? How much CO2 is necessary to humanely euthanize mice? Any advice, instructions, or links would be greatly appreciated!
