California Herp/Snake shows

I was wondering if Herps shows were ever held in California? I never here about any. Has anyone ever heard of any shows being held at the LA Convention Center? If so, are their any coming up. I just don't want to drive/fly far just to get a nice snake. Thanx for all the help!!
