At present I do not think you are allowed any animals on the chunnel. Some ferry companies however do allow you to carry reptiles. With regard to customs and the police etc. there is nothing to worry about. The royal python is easily recognisable and is not vered under CITES. If you have a receipt for the animal even better but if not don't worry too much. You do not need to declare the animal on arrival or anything either.
