Sex Determination in Crocodilians

How does the temperature work in the sexual determination in crocodilians? Is this an enzimatic or homonal process? What physiological mechanims are involved in the process, once they have a lack of sexual chromosomes? I heard of Stradiol drops in the shell of the egg, but how does it work in the wild as a natural process?
