ITAR-TASS (Russia) 18 November 99 Two boas, crocodile stolen from menagerie touring Kemerovo
Kemerovo: Two boa constrictors and a crocodile were stolen overnight to Thursday from Russia's Siberian city of Kemerovo, where an Armenian zoo is currently on tour.
According to Novaya Sibirskaya TV company, three exotic reptiles disappeared from their cages at night. The missing reptiles are estimated at 6,200 U.S. dollars.
According to zoo staffers, it was the first theft in the menagerie, that has been touring Russian regions for already nine years.
Specialists from local law enforcement bodies have launched an investigation
