Hi,the only thing I know they need hibernation for successful breeding during 2-3 winter months. The temps should be about 12-15C. The matings usually occur in March -April. The females lay 6-10 eggs. At 28-30C incubation lasts 30-45 days. Hatchlings accept insects, earthworms and pinkies. Hope it helps. Good luck.
: Hello
: I have 4 O.apodus that seem well acclimated to captive conditions.I am searching for anyone that has breed them(successfully or not)- i would like to try my hand at breeding them.I would appreciate hearing from anyone that is willing to share information about keeping these animals.
: Here in the USA there is virtually no information available about their care/husbandry or cycling/breeding.
: Any and all assitance appreciated
: Amy Zerkle
