Hi,
It is normal for pythons to stop feeding in the winter months. Especially a mature 2 1/2 year old. If the snake has good weight she is most likely in her breeding cycle and now would be a good time to introduce a male. This assumes that you bought a healthy long term captive or captive bred snake that was doing well before you bought her.
Good luck!
