Hi,

I have a heating problem. My tanks are heated by a commercial heat tape, that raises the temperature in the tank by 5 -10 deg, over the ambient room temperature. The trouble is, when the oil heating is turned off when I am not home or in bed, the the tem, drops and the snakes start to hibernate and won't eat.
I have heard you can get a heating tape that plumbers use to thaw pipes, that can be fixed to a thermostat to get the right temperature, but where can you get it, I can't find it anywhere.Any one help?

Alan.
