Hello Paul,

The only two species known of the coastal Taipan are the Australian Coastal taipan (Oxyuranus scutellatus scutellatus) and the Papuan Taipan (Oxyuranus scutellatus canni) the subspecies (Oxyuranus scutellatus barringeri sp.) is not a valid species as far as I know.
