Hi. I'm so very impressed by all the awesome posts you have here. I have read through many, and only wish I could have had some of you as my science teachers in high school. I'm currently studying to be a teacher, and have a year left. Right now, I will be graduating with my masters in math ed, but my love of animals makes me want to continue my studies and also get certified to teach some science courses... My question here is what types of lessons do you do with the various animals you keep in your classrooms? Maybe there is a way to team teach between the sciences and mathematics? Does anyone have suggestions on that?? Thanks for all your insights, and although your students may not tell you- you sound like enthusiastic, caring, and awesome teachers! :)
