Need help with baby RES.

I bought a baby RES at the show on Saturday, July 20. I can't get it to eat anything. It has heat, uv lights, a good filter, a tank of it's own, everything and won't eat. I have tried meal worms, blood worms, and tiny feeder fish. Can't buy crickets small enough for him tho. He's a little bigger then a quarter. If anyone has any suggestions, or even the guy that sold him to me can give me advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
