I think that an evening canoe trip starting at dusk might even be neater. Not only would it provide an opportunity to eye shine for alligators, but also to shine for sleeping turtles, rough green snakes, and other creatures of the night! We've discussed conoeing at night, but we have never gotten around to it. Would that be an option that anyone else might be interested in?
