Thanks for the comment! Steve and I, along with Dave and Sierra, talked with what seemed like a couple of thousand people (come to think of it, there were a couple of thousand people there, though we surely didn't talk to them all). I tried to alternate between animals so that no one animal got manhandled all day, and I made sure the box turtles got equal time. I was proud of the Texas rat snakes for not being nippy, and the bullsnake proved again what a sweetie he is. (We try to feature native Texas herps in displays.)
