This fall (2002) I got an Argentine Black and White Tegu and a Rhino Iguana breaking a seven year fast from herps. I since have added and Veiled Chameleon aand I was given a trio of Blue Tounge Skinks...zero to 60!

If you do not know tegus grow REALLY fast and as you probably know Cyclura are slow growers. Given that I've been paying more attention to the tegu because he will sooner be a large and hopefully NOT snarling beast. I handle and carry and poke at him so when he is four + feet and 15 or so lbs. he won't be so difficult.

My little rhino is growing quickly now... by Cyclura status that is. I took him out the other day after not giving him much attention. He was just as calm and gentle and perfect as could be. I can hold him in a closed fist and he'll eat out of my other hand!

I love my tegu...but I think my rhino steals my heart every time!

Cyclura are wonderful creatures!

Brian
