our 5th year for attending the big Florida show. The first year we went was the last year that it was held in Orlando and I kinda liked it better. But, it is a spectacular show and it takes an entire day to see all of it. You will see the 1000's of colubrids, leopard gex and bearded dragons, but you will also see some awesome monitors, albino iguanas, every morph of boa and python there is! We make it a huge social event and meet up with about 20 friends from all over the country. We take our cell phones and hand held radios and help each other shop to find that "just right" animal.
Last year I was specifically shopping for a male Cuban Rock. The year before I bought my younger female Cuban and the year before that my male Rhino. That doesn't mean we didn't bring home other "stuff" too. :) My daughter purchased her albino Tegu last year along with about a dozen colubrids, a boa, and some spiders. I had to have a pair of Aussie Water Dragons and a cute little Striped Black Motley Cornsnake. This year I don't have anything in mind......unless I see an outstanding male Red Tegu or a really nice Black Roughneck Monitor. The show is definately something you should do at least once.
