About a month or so ago I lost a yearling male from Dave Blair after only having it a month. Well the necropsy was inconclusive. There were no appearent signs of what caused the death(impaction etc.) that could be seen on dissection. Everything looked pretty much normal. They could not do any hystilogical(spelling) work due to me freezing the animal. There was of course food in the gut and digested food in the lower tract. So I guess it is a mystery. Just thought you all might be interested. On an up note the female is doing outstanding now over 20 inches. She was about 14 when I got her in early December. She has lost a lot of the cuban coloring and is more gray now except a yellowish line that runs down the back about 1/4 inch each side of the spine. She has become very nasty and loves to bite. She is a handful for sure.
