Yeah, my friend from my truck club went out there with me two days in a row and we didn't find any snakes, except for a dead one. All we saw were a bunch of geckos, a grey fox, two dead deer, a desert hairy scorpion, one HUGE black widow (I hate spiders-I've been bitten by a brown recluse and a wolf spider), and a dead kingsnake which I saw get run over right in front of me. I threw my shoe at the SUV that ran over it but he was doing like 90mph and I couldn't hit him. And on top of that my friend has never seen a live snake in the wild, so I'm kinda anxious to show him one. Thanks for the advice too. I'm definately going to go out there again in a couple days and paying close attention to the inside median. I'm sure you guys will be seeing a post from me once I finally find my first sidewinder.
