I know for fact that their are Canebreaks over 7'
and some 10'.Atrox that streach across highways
some 28' and a 14'blacktail that lives in the Davis
Mts. A rattlesnake with red eyes that lives in the
mountains of Mexico and eats baby's. All this hads
been told to me as fact in my Museum over the last
few years.
Now for real facts:
The largest Atrox was 7'9" in Dallas Co. Tx. in the Chalk Hills
The second was 7'2" same local collected by a Doctor in the 50's.
Easterns ??????????????
Eastern young are larger than any atrox.
The largest young of atrox are in South Texas.
Atrox have a larger range than Easterns
These animals are not closely related.
Do not know of any 6'5" that show up at the Roundups
The largest atrox I have seem was 6'3".
Byron I'm with you.
Joe how did you measure??????
