Todd, you have done excellent job of illustrating the pit-falls of drawing conclusions from limited data. One of the main objectives of my series of posts on this matter has been to demonstrate how the lack of critical thinking, when coupled with the inappropriate application of statistics, can lead to faulty conclusions. The real danger, course, is that faulty conclusions can lead to disastrous actions. Critical thinking is always important, but it is especially so when examining a very complex issue like we have been doing.
