Some of the proceeds benefit organizations and charities, including the Boy Scouts, Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Special Olympics....
I think that perhaps a few politely-worded letters to the BSA, the MDA and the Special Olympics about their complicity in this would be in order. Charities HATE controversy (except perhaps the Boy Scouts....[grin]), and a big pile of letters letting them know the atrocities committed in the course of raising cash to support them would go a long way.
POLITE LETTERS. Angry nasty misspelled letters get tossed in the circular file. I have found that hardcopy letters work MUCH better than emails.
