I think that is does not really matter one way or the other. The rattlesnake will still be there regardless it just might have a differant name. I do not think that they care that much about it. By the way. I have a captive Crotalus viridis oregonus that is absolutely beautiful. Have had him for about 6 months now and is doing fantastic. For pics see the link below.
