:Well.....I have seen alot from S.E and E. KY so it was just a process of elimination. Plus that snake looked alot like those from Southern IL. I love the variation in the species. Thanks again for an awesome pic-I agree about finding them under tin compared to in a natural setting. They are beautiful snake either way though.
I agree EK. When you have done your homework and zeroed in on your quarry, there is nothing more rewarding than peeling back that last piece of tin out of about 300 sheets and revealing the incredible beast in all of it's glory. Happy Herping, K.E.
