she is guarding 7-8 babies, I couldn't count how many exactly as the babies were all piled up together. The female quickly blocked my view. Here she is actually advancing towards me hoping to chase me away. This is the earliest birht I have seen for my area, most are in late Sept. This is the second litter I have seen for this female.
