:) Remember it takes about 6 weeks from the time she ovulates, not 6 weeks from when they copulated. If you kept them together for a couple of weeks (assuming they bred) and she doesn't ovulate until a couple of weeks later, it is then that the count down starts till she lays her eggs.

But I would put them back together again. Her scales will stretch on her lower third of her body above the vent and will be obvious near the end.
